An existing support group can be affiliated with the Hepatitis Education Project Support Group Program. Participation in the program provides you as a leader with:

• An individual website for your group, maintained by the program.

• Online documents and resources.

• Membership in an email list of support group leaders that can help you with advice and resources.

• Membership in an online discussion group for leaders, and regular training at least once each year.

HEP will also do periodic mailings to your group members and potential group members, and to medical providers in your area, advertising a promoting your group.

Your commitment is to participate for at least one year, to attend training, to participate actively in the discussion groups, and to help identify problems and/or opportunities for improvement in support groups.
